Tariff & Terms

We charge £6.50 per cat per day.
For two or more cats sharing, the charge is £6.00 per cat per day.

Afternoon arrivals and morning collections are charged per half day provided they are specified when you book. Prices quoted include:

Fully heated chalets (thermostatically controlled)
Spacious covered outdoor runs
Personally run by resident proprietor
All meals (with the exception of any prescription diets – to be supplied by the owners)
Regular visits by our local veterinary surgeon
Comfortable, homely and loving atmosphere
Daily cleaning of chalets and runs
General care and kind attention

New customers are required to pay a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance due at the time of collection. We accept cash or cheques made payable to ‘Countryside Cattery’, but do not currently accept debit or credit card payments.

If you cancel your booking less than 14 days prior to arrival, you will be responsible for paying any days that we are unable to reallocate.

Sharing cats can only be accepted from the same household.

Up-to-date Vaccination Certificate for feline influenza and feline enteritis must be provided for all cats. We are unable to accept cats without a valid certificate.

All cats are insured against Veterinary Surgeons fees for the duration of their say, up to a sum of £700, however pre-existing conditions are not covered. All chronic medical conditions must be declared upon admission. Cats suffering or suspected to be suffering from any infections will not be accepted into the cattery. Sorry, NO un-neutered males.

Collection and Delivery
We can provide a collection and delivery service – by prior arrangement – using the owner’s own secure cat carrier units. Please ensure that your cat(s) is not fed for three hours prior to travelling.
For this service we made a charge of £1.00 per mile each way, per trip – minimum charge £5.00 per trip.
